Marvel Rivals Season 9.5 Introduces The Hood and New Content

Marvel Rivals will launch its Season 9.5 update on August 7, 2026. The update adds a new playable hero, The Hood, who joins the roster as a Vanguard. A balance patch, new cosmetics, a new map (available July 24), and a new PvE mode called “Path to Doomsday” (July 31) are also part of the rollout. The release is scheduled for 3 a.m. PT (11 a.m. BST) with regional timings provided for North America, Europe, Asia and Oceania.

A separate leak has surfaced showing voice lines that link the character Dazzler to the game, suggesting the pop‑star X‑Man could be added to the roster in the future, though no official confirmation has been made.
