Marvel Rivals update adds Winter Soldier and Venom skins, fixes bugs

NetEase released a new patch for the free-to-play hero shooter Marvel Rivals on May 7, 2026. The update, version 1.000087 on PS5 (and 1.50 on PS4), rolls out without any server downtime and introduces two new cosmetic bundles: the Winter Soldier – Starlet Gunslinger Bundle and the Venom – War of the Realms Bundle, along with an Emoji bundle and two chroma variants (Ruby Ranger and Tawny Tracker). These items become available in the in‑game shop from May 8.

The patch also addresses several gameplay issues: Black Cat’s Tablet of Destinies now correctly accrues Fortune; a bug that could trap heroes in a lingering “super‑hero landing” animation has been fixed; Black Cat no longer gets stuck on the Klyntar map after using her Ring of Zona portal; a matchmaking glitch affecting Rally Point during hero selection is resolved; and Blade’s Silver Soulbreaker build no longer produces excessive sound effects. The update concludes the Season 7.5 cycle, which ends on May 15, ahead of the upcoming Season 8.
