Marvel sets July 2028 release date for Ryan Gosling's Ghost Rider

Marvel Studios has officially set a release date of July 28, 2028, for its “Ghost Rider” reboot starring Ryan Gosling. Directed by Shawn Levy and written by Jonathan Tropper, the film marks Gosling’s takeover of the Spirit of Vengeance role.

In connection to the production, Disney has registered a new entity named “Throttle Productions LLC.” While not officially confirmed as the production company for “Ghost Rider,” the name—referring to a motorcycle’s accelerator—has drawn significant attention due to its thematic link to the character.

The “Ghost Rider” release is part of a broader 2028 Marvel slate that includes an untitled “X-Men” film scheduled for May 5 and “Black Panther 3” set for December 15. These projects follow the upcoming “Avengers: Doomsday” and “Avengers: Secret Wars” installments.
