Marvel Studios announces MCU Phase 7 lineup

Marvel Studios has announced plans for Phase 7 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), which is expected to follow the conclusion of the Multiverse Saga with ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’. The new phase will reportedly feature a ‘quality over quantity’ strategy, consisting of nine films: five solo movies and four team-up films, including an Avengers event.

Kevin Feige confirmed that the 2028 slate is set to begin with ‘Ghost Rider’ and ‘Black Panther III’. The upcoming era is anticipated to focus on mutants, with ‘X-Men’ among the scheduled titles.

Speculation regarding the next major antagonist for the franchise suggests that Apocalypse may serve as the primary villain for the upcoming saga, potentially following the narrative threads of characters like Mr. Sinister.
