New industry rumors suggest that filming for Avengers: Secret Wars may have already commenced, potentially contradicting previous reports of a production hiatus. While earlier updates indicated that Marvel Studios had paused filming in the United Kingdom for a five-week break, a recent claim from industry insider MyTimeToShineHello suggests production has begun with a major sequence.

Marvel Studios has not officially commented on the production status. However, directors Anthony and Joe Russo previously indicated that preparation for the film was underway during San Diego Comic-Con.

Avengers: Secret Wars is set to conclude the Multiverse Saga and is currently targeted for a December 17, 2027, theatrical release. It follows Avengers: Doomsday, which is scheduled for December 18, 2026, and will feature Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom.
