Marvel Studios begins casting for Ryan Gosling's Ghost Rider

Marvel Studios has reportedly begun the casting process for its upcoming standalone film, ‘Ghost Rider’. While specific roles and actors have not been officially confirmed, industry reports indicate that production is moving forward to meet a scheduled release date of July 28, 2028.

Ryan Gosling is set to star as Johnny Blaze, the stunt rider who enters a bargain with a demon. The project, which is part of Marvel’s Phase 7 slate, will be directed by Shawn Levy and written by Jonathan Tropper. Levy, who previously directed ‘Deadpool & Wolverine’, has reportedly been collaborating with Gosling on ideas for the film.

The character of Ghost Rider, known as the Spirit of Vengeance, has been a long-requested addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film marks a significant step in the studio's expansion into supernatural storylines.
