Marvel Studios Chief Kevin Feige Confirms Live-Action Miles Morales Plans
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige told Chinese media in Shanghai that the studio intends to bring the Black‑spider‑Man, Miles Morales, to live‑action cinema after Sony’s animated Spider‑Verse trilogy ends with Spider‑Man: Beyond the Spider‑Verse scheduled for June 18 2027. Feige referenced the hint in Spider‑Man: No Way Home, noting that audiences worldwide reacted positively to the suggestion of a Black Spider‑Man.
He added that production partner Amy Pascal is already developing the project and that Marvel is discussing the storyline for the next two, three, four, and even five Spider‑Man movies, independent of existing Sony agreements. The announcement comes as Marvel prepares the upcoming solo outing Spider‑Man: Brand New Day (set for July 31 2026) and the next Avengers film, Avengers: Doomsday (December 18 2026).
