Marvel Studios hides secret characters in upcoming Avengers: Doomsday
Actor Alan Cumming revealed that Marvel Studios used placeholder names in the Avengers: Doomsday script to keep unannounced characters concealed. He explained that “everyone’s got two names” and that the practice was meant to prevent leaks about returning heroes.
Cumming confirmed he is reprising Kurt Wagner/Nightcrawler, noted limited screen time, and described recent filming at Pinewood Studios with directors Joe and Anthony Russo. While the studio has not confirmed additional appearances, speculation persists about characters such as Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau and Doctor Strange. Avengers: Doomsday is slated for release on December 18.
