Marvel Studios may delay Avengers: Secret Wars filming until 2027

Reports suggest Marvel Studios is considering further delays for the production of Avengers: Secret Wars. While an official start date has not been released by the studio, industry insider Daniel Richtman indicates that filming could be postponed until the first half of 2027, potentially as early as February.

This potential shift follows previous speculation that production would begin in November. If filming is delayed until 2027, it may create challenges for the post-production phase, given the film's massive scale and its role in concluding the Multiverse Saga.

Despite these rumors, the official theatrical release date for Avengers: Secret Wars remains December 17, 2027. Directors Anthony and Joe Russo, who are also helming Avengers: Doomsday, have reportedly begun 'soft prepping' the project. Marvel Studios has not officially confirmed any changes to the production schedule.
