Marvel announces Zodiac spy thriller and VisionQuest updates

Marvel Television Zodiac series VisionQuest Disney+ New York Comic Con

At New York Comic Con, Marvel Television and Marvel Animation unveiled several upcoming projects for Disney+. A major announcement was the live-action spy thriller series ‘Zodiac’, which is scheduled to debut in 2028. Production for ‘Zodiac’ is expected to begin in London in the spring of 2027, with casting starting shortly. While plot details remain secret, the series logo has sparked fan theories regarding potential connections to S.H.I.E.L.D.

Additionally, the studio provided updates on ‘VisionQuest’, a series following Vision (Paul Bettany) as he navigates an existential crisis alongside various AI personas, including Ultron (James Spader). ‘VisionQuest’ is set to premiere on Disney+ on October 14, 2026.

Marvel also announced a series of ‘Marvel Zombies’ animated specials to be released annually around Halloween, starting with ‘The Winter Soldier’ in 2027, followed by ‘The Fist of Khonshu’ in 2028, and ‘The Last Guardian’ in 2029.
