Marvel Studios casting rumors swell for upcoming X-Men reboot

Marvel Studios is actively casting for its upcoming X-Men reboot, directed by Jake Schreier. Recent reports suggest several key casting decisions for the next generation of mutants.

Kit Connor is reportedly set to play Scott Summers (Cyclops), while Sadie Sink has been identified as Jean Grey and Samara Weaving as Emma Frost. Additionally, there is significant speculation regarding the role of Professor Charles Xavier; while Bill Skarsgård and Christopher Abbott have been prominent names in rumors, some reports suggest a different actor has been chosen.

Actress Dafne Keen is also rumored to be in talks to return to the MCU as Laura Kinney/X-23. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has indicated that the X-Men film is planned to follow the release of Avengers: Secret Wars, which is currently scheduled for late 2027, potentially positioning the new X-Men movie for a 2028 debut.
