Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls demo presented at Puebla event ahead of global launch
Arc System Works is showcasing a playable demo of its upcoming fighting game Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls at the S Factor X3 festival in Puebla, Mexico. The open demo will run on Saturday, 18 July and Sunday, 19 July 2026 at the Centro Expositor, with free entry for festival‑goers. While the full roster has not been confirmed, the beta is expected to feature 14 iconic Marvel heroes and villains, including Captain America, Iron Man, Spider‑Man, Wolverine, Magneto, Star‑Lord, Doctor Doom and Ghost Rider.
The demo arrives as the fighting‑game genre sees several high‑profile releases. Sega’s Virtua Fighter Crossroads returns after two decades with a new linear campaign. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3 promises an open‑world West City and expanded role‑playing elements. Rivals of Aether II adds three‑dimensional stages and new mechanics, and Tencent‑backed The Hidden Ones brings mystic martial‑arts action to modern devices. These titles together signal a strong upcoming period for both traditional and platform fighting games.
