Marvel Tokon Episode Mode Kieron Gillen single-player August 2026 release

The upcoming fighting game Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls will include a single‑player Episode Mode that consists of five unique story chapters, each illustrated by a different artist. Legendary comic writer and former games journalist Kieron Gillen authored the mode's narrative, which follows five distinct teams – Unbreakable X‑Men, Amazing Guardians, Fighting Avengers, Knights of Doom, and Samurai Outriders – as they confront the Champion.

The game’s full roster of Marvel characters, including Storm, Wolverine, Spider‑Man, Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk, Loki and many others, is confirmed. Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls is scheduled for release on 6 August 2026 for PC and PlayStation 5, though it remains blocked in over 100 territories due to Sony’s PlayStation Network linking requirement. A recreated cinematic moment pits Hulk against Loki, echoing their clash in The Avengers film.
