Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls set for Aug 6 launch, DLC hints and Comic‑Con reveals

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, a 4‑v‑4 fighting game developed by Arc System Works in partnership with Marvel Games, will launch on August 6 for PC and PlayStation 5. The game features a 20‑character launch roster split into four teams – the Fighting Avengers, the Amazing Guardians, the Unbreakable X‑Men and the Knights of Doom – with characters such as Hulk, Spider‑Man, Ghost Rider, Deadpool and Loki.

A pre‑release comic preview shows Thor fighting alongside Hulk, Spider‑Man and Captain America, suggesting the Norse god may appear as a post‑launch DLC character. At San Diego Comic‑Con (July 23‑26), the developers will host a "Behind the Battle" panel that promises surprise announcements, likely detailing additional DLC fighters, story‑mode content and other game features. The game’s PC sales have also faced restrictions in over 130 regions due to PlayStation Network account access issues.
