Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls slated for August 6, 2026 launch on PS5 and PC

Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, announced at Sony’s State of Play in June 2025, is a new Marvel‑themed fighting game developed by Arc System Works. The title introduces a 4‑versus‑4 tag‑team system where a designated leader can call three allies into combat. The roster shown includes Captain America, Iron Man, Spider‑Man, Miss Marvel, Ghost Rider (Robbie Reyes), Star‑Lord, Doctor Doom and Storm, with additional characters expected later.

The game will launch on 6 August 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Windows PC in Standard, Definitive and Deluxe editions, each offering pre‑order bonuses. Gameplay controls feature light, medium and heavy attacks mapped to Square, Triangle and Circle, an Assist button (X) and a unique action on R1. Reviewers noted a slower, more approachable pace than earlier Marvel vs. Capcom titles, with optional shortcuts for combo execution.
