Marvel TV chief pushes for 10-season run of X‑Men ’97 series

Brad Winderbaum, newly promoted head of Marvel’s television, animation, comics and franchise divisions, said he wants the animated series X‑Men ’97 to continue for ten seasons. Producers Larry Houston and Eric Lewald echoed the ambition in an interview with POC Culture, noting that Marvel plans to bring the show back to Disney+ over the next eight years, extending beyond the original five‑season goal that mirrored the 1990s series. The second season has already been released, and the team indicated the intention to discuss a tenth season as the franchise celebrates six decades of comics and an expanding character roster.
