Marvell Technology Stock Slides 34% as Investors Boost Holdings
Marvell Technology shares have fallen about 34% from their recent peak, prompting market commentary on whether the dip offers a buying opportunity. Analysts note the company's focus on networking gear and custom AI chips for cloud providers such as Microsoft and Amazon, while comparing its growth outlook to larger rival Broadcom.
During the first quarter, several institutional investors added to their Marvell positions. Delta Global Management LP bought 27,068 shares valued at roughly $2.68 million, and other funds including Mayflower Financial Advisors, Bell Investment Advisors, World Equity Group, Schear Investment Advisers, and Enterprise Financial Services increased their stakes. Analyst firms lifted price targets, with Susquehanna raising its objective to $230 and Jefferies to $235, reflecting a more optimistic outlook on the semiconductor maker's prospects.
