The blockbuster film *Spider-Man: Brand New Day* earned $927 million in its opening weekend, becoming one of the most successful releases ever. The movie’s popularity has driven a surge in interest for Insomniac Games’ titles, with Marvel's Spider‑Man Remastered and Marvel's Spider‑Man 2 re‑entering the top‑10 rankings on Steam in Italy and globally. Discount promotions on the PlayStation Store and Steam, running until early August, have reduced the games’ prices by up to 60 %, with the sequel falling to $29.39 (about a 58 % cut) and the remastered edition priced at €23.99.

The sale period coincides with a recent update that adds the new suit seen in the film and optimises the sequel for PS5 Pro hardware. Insomniac Games confirmed ongoing work on future Marvel titles, including the upcoming Wolverine game slated for release on September 17.
