Marvel Studios’ upcoming film Spider‑Man: Brand New Day is scheduled for a July 31, 2026 theatrical release in the United States as the 38th entry in the MCU. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, the movie follows Peter Parker (Tom Holland) living alone after the world forgot his identity in No Way Home. The story emphasizes a more solitary, street‑level hero dealing with mysterious changes to his powers, a concept Holland nicknamed “Spider‑Puberty.”
Holland said he was invited into the writers’ room, meeting bi‑weekly to pitch ideas and help shape the film’s direction.
