Marvel's VisionQuest to conclude trilogy with White Vision and Ultron

Marvel Studios is preparing to release VisionQuest, the concluding installment of the television trilogy that began with WandaVision and continued with Agatha All Along. Showrunner Terry Matalas has confirmed that Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen, will not appear in the series, noting that the character's fate is known to Vision.

The series will focus on White Vision, a version of the character who has escaped those attempting to weaponize him. To provide a strong foil for Vision, James Spader will return as Ultron. Spader described the dynamic between the characters as a “father-son-therapist-psychopath relationship,” with Ultron living in a loft and providing advice to Vision.

VisionQuest is expected to arrive on Disney+ in October 2026, though some reports suggest a release as early as October 2024. The cast includes Paul Bettany, James Spader, and several others.
