Insomniac Games and Sony released a new CGI trailer titled “Ain’t No Hero” for the upcoming Marvel's Wolverine game. The 90‑second cinematic shows a darker, anti‑heroic Logan who battles through rain‑soaked streets, snow‑covered wastelands and a rainy Tokyo, wielding his adamantium claws with brutal intensity.
The trailer confirms the game's release for PlayStation 5 on 15 September 2026 and confirms a physical disc edition despite Sony’s plan to phase out discs in 2028. Notable character appearances include Sabretooth, who briefly allies with Wolverine, and the longtime X‑Men antagonist Lady Deathstrike, making her first confirmed cameo. Additional foes such as the Reavers, Omega Red and other mutant hunters are hinted at, expanding the story’s global scope.
