Marvel's Wolverine video game features new storyline

Insomniac Games is developing a new “Marvel’s Wolverine” video game that features a standalone storyline separate from previous X-Men films or Hugh Jackman’s portrayal. In this iteration, Logan is no longer a member of the X-Men but instead joins Team X, a task force including characters such as Mystique and Sabretooth, to confront the scientist Bolivar Trask.

The game aims to reintroduce the character as a blank slate, with Logan beginning the experience in the woods with limited memories of his past. The narrative will explore his emotional connection with Jean Grey in a setting without the established X-Men team. The character will be voiced by actor Liam McIntyre.
