Marvin Linke reveals reasons for departure from ‘Unter uns’

Actor Marvin Linke has revealed the reasons behind his abrupt departure from the RTL series ‘Unter uns’ in 2016. In recent interviews, the 34-year-old disclosed that he was struggling with sex addiction at the time, a condition he says was exacerbated by the sudden fame he experienced as a teenager.

Linke stated that his behavior led to multiple warnings from production. The situation culminated after a party at a neighboring studio, where he and a woman were caught by security engaging in intimate acts on the show’s outdoor set, specifically in the ‘Schillerallee’ location. Security footage of the incident reportedly led to the immediate termination of his contract.

Reflecting on that period, Linke described his life as being entirely driven by libido. Following his exit from the series, he moved from Cologne to Hannover, a change he credits with helping him overcome his addiction. He is now married and a father.
