Mary and Golden serve Filipino feast on My Kitchen Rules

On the television program My Kitchen Rules, contestants Mary and Golden, who are nurses and friends, presented a Filipino-themed menu for their Instant Restaurant challenge. Their menu, titled ‘Aming Kusina’, featured Okoy Fritters with Pipino Salad, Cebu Lechon Belly, and a Mango Float Ice Cream Sandwich.

The episode was noted for its emotional intensity, with Golden expressing tears due to being away from her children. The two friends, who moved to Australia from the Philippines in 2012, aimed to use their heritage to climb the competition leaderboard currently led by Tiffany and Giancarlo.
