Mary Berry attends opening of Audley Shiplake Meadows

Dame Mary Berry, the 91-year-old former Great British Bake Off judge, participated in the official opening of Audley Shiplake Meadows, a luxury retirement village near Henley in Oxfordshire.

During the ribbon-cutting ceremony, Berry expressed her joy regarding the new development, noting its potential to become a significant part of the local community. The village features 65 senior living apartments, duplex penthouses, and cottages designed for residents over the age of 65. The development includes amenities such as a bar, bistro, gym, and wellness services through the Audley Club.

Nick Sanderson, chief executive of Audley Villages, joined Berry for the event, which included a tour of the grounds and an afternoon tea for current and prospective property owners.
