Maryla Rodowicz unveils new mural in Opole

Polish singer Maryla Rodowicz attended the unveiling of a large-scale mural dedicated to her on the Chabrów estate in Opole. The artwork, located at Chabrów 153-159, was designed by illustrator Ola Osadzińska and executed by the local artist collective Grupa Murki.

The mural is the seventh installment in the ‘Musical Murals Tour,’ an initiative launched in 2020 to honor artists associated with the National Festival of Polish Song. Rodowicz, who has performed at the Opole Amphitheatre 42 times, expressed her appreciation for the colorful and spirited depiction of her likeness.

The unveiling event drew significant crowds, with fans gathering to sing along with the artist and take photographs. The project continues Opole's tradition of creating an open-air gallery of musical icons throughout the city's urban spaces.
