Maryla Rodowicz to receive star in Kraków Walk of Fame

Polish singer Maryla Rodowicz will be honored with her own star in the RMF FM and City of Kraków Walk of Fame. The unveiling ceremony is scheduled for October 17 at 3:00 PM on the Czerwieński Boulevard, located at the foot of Wawel Castle.

The event serves as a symbolic milestone for the artist, marking nearly 60 years of her career on the Polish music scene. The location holds historical significance for Rodowicz, as she won one of her first major awards at the National Student Song Festival in Kraków in 1967.

Rodowicz joins a list of distinguished artists previously honored in the alley, including Céline Dion, Scorpions, and Bryan Adams. The ceremony will be open to the public, allowing fans to participate in the celebration.
