Maryland Deathfest adds 30+ metal acts to 2027 lineup

The Maryland Deathfest (MDF) announced a large expansion of its 2027 roster, adding more than thirty new metal acts. Among the newly confirmed bands are UK extreme group Anaal Nathrakh, French grindcore outfit Benighted, American doom metal band YOB, and German thrash veterans Exumer. Other additions include Blood Vial, Brodequin, Devangelic, Grave Infestation, Guineapig, Hong Kong Fuck You, Human Effluence, Lamp of Murmuur, Lucifer, Mortal Wound, Replicant, Ruby the Hatchet and several others.

MDF XXII is scheduled for May 27‑30, 2027, across multiple Baltimore venues – the Market Place, Power Plant Live, Nevermore Hall, Baltimore Soundstage and Angels Rock Bar – with a pre‑fest on May 26. Organizers said single‑day and VIP tickets will go on sale later in the summer, and fewer than 100 four‑day passes remain.

The expanded lineup reflects MDF’s continued focus on extreme and underground metal, drawing performers from the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Canada, Brazil, Japan and beyond.
