Maryland Man Charged with Threatening Woman and Violating Protection Order in Pennsylvania

Kevin Joseph Needle, 44, of Mount Airy, Maryland, was charged in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, after East Union Township police alleged he trespassed into a residence on July 21, 2026, and made violent threats toward a woman protected by a court‑issued Protection From Abuse (PFA) order. The complaint lists one felony count of criminal trespass, two misdemeanor counts of terroristic threats, and two misdemeanor counts of harassment. According to the woman, Needle repeatedly called and texted her, threatening to kill her and her boyfriend and to set the house on fire despite the active PFA order. Police responded to a report of a possible PFA violation and, after a search of the home, found no one inside. Needle has not been taken into custody and the case awaits a preliminary hearing.
