Maryland paramedic sentenced to 25 years for contaminating food

Christopher Carroll, a 36-year-old paramedic with the Baltimore County Fire Department, has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for causing coworkers to ingest bodily fluids. Carroll pleaded guilty to three counts of causing another person to ingest bodily fluid after investigators discovered he had filmed himself urinating and ejaculating on food, beverages, and equipment used by his colleagues.

According to court records and investigative reports, Carroll’s actions included urinating into an ice machine, ejaculating into a coffee creamer container, and contaminating a supervisor’s keyboard. He also posted at least 64 videos of these acts to an adult content website, stating he intended to become a porn star.

The discovery of the videos prompted a large-scale decontamination effort by Baltimore County, costing approximately $263,000 to clean 25 fire stations and public buildings. During sentencing, Judge Dennis Robinson Jr. noted that Carroll’s actions shattered the trust and camaraderie of the department. Carroll apologized for his actions, describing himself as a man who made a horrible decision due to temptation.
