MASAF announces grants for DOP and IGP food products

The Italian Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry (MASAF) has released Decree No. 319404, establishing the criteria for 2026 grants aimed at promoting and protecting DOP and IGP agricultural and food products.

The initiative seeks to support the enhancement of these protected products and spirits both nationally and internationally. Eligible applicants include protection consortia, associative bodies of protection consortia, and temporary associations of recognized entities.

Total available resources amount to 3,011,000 euros. Individual beneficiaries can receive a maximum of 250,000 euros, with the final amount determined by a commission's evaluation score. The deadline for submitting applications is September 23, 2026.
