Masaharu Fukuyama announces new album ‘Choushinsei’

Japanese artist Masaharu Fukuyama has announced the full tracklist for his 13th original album, ‘Choushinsei’ (Supernova), scheduled for release on September 9, 2026. This marks his first original album in five years and nine months.

Two new songs, ‘SUPERNOVA’ and ‘Ushukubeha,’ will serve as the core of the album. Fukuyama will introduce these tracks on his regular radio programs over two consecutive weeks in late August. The album will also include a piano version of ‘Hakushu Kassai,’ a track previously featured in a television drama.

In preparation for the release, Fukuyama released a digest video of all tracks on his official YouTube channel. His recent digital single, ‘Kaikou,’ has already achieved first place on the Oricon Weekly Digital Single Ranking and the Billboard JAPAN Download Songs chart.

Additionally, the artist is concluding his ‘WE’RE BROS. TOUR 2026,’ with a final dome live performance at Kyocera Dome Osaka scheduled for August 23, which will be streamed online.
