Masahiro Matsuoka to host third season of Hokkaido drinking variety show

UHB has announced the third installment of the drinking variety program ‘Matsuoka no Kita no Yuunomi’, featuring Sapporo native Masahiro Matsuoka. The series, which previously recorded high viewership, will consist of four episodes starting October 3.

In this new season, Matsuoka will expand his search for local food and alcohol beyond Sapporo to include Otaru and Yoichi. The first episode focuses on the Teine area of Sapporo, a location significant to Matsuoka’s childhood and his memories of his grandmother. The program aims to showcase authentic local bars and provide a glimpse into Matsuoka’s private personality through casual conversations and his reflections on music.
