Masaki Aiba and Hiromi to renovate Tochigi nursery school playground

Masaki Aiba and Hiromi will participate in a three-week special broadcast of the TV Asahi variety program ‘Aiba Hiromi no Okomaridesu Ka?’. The first installment features a two-hour special focused on helping a nursery school in Nasu-Shiobara, Tochigi Prefecture.

The mission involves renovating a playground hill that has been neglected for 24 years. The duo will work to improve damp soil, replace old artificial turf, and remove thorny azalea bushes to create a safe environment for children. Their renovation plans include creating grass slopes tailored to different age groups and installing ‘tire flower beds’ to decorate the area.

In addition to the physical labor, the pair will interact with the 50 nursery students to help solve personal challenges, such as practicing jump rope or engaging in ‘interview play’ to help children improve their communication skills.
