Masaki Hashimoto to star in ‘Onee-chan no Midori-kun’ film

New production stills and behind-the-scenes photos have been released for the live-action film ‘Onee-chan no Midori-kun’, scheduled for release on December 4. The film is based on the popular manga by Amu Meguro, which has surpassed 1.6 million copies in circulation.

Masaki Hashimoto of the group timelesz stars in the lead role. Producers noted that Hashimoto was selected due to his striking resemblance to the character, specifically highlighting that the mole on his face is in the exact same position as the character Midori. Despite a busy schedule with timelesz tours, staff praised Hashimoto for his professional conduct and leadership on set.

The cast also includes Runa Kumada, Runa Nakajima, and Reo Matsumoto. The film is directed by Masato Kimura and distributed by Shochiku.
