Masami Nagasawa to appear on TV Tokyo variety special

Actor Masami Nagasawa will appear as a guest on the TV Tokyo variety program ‘Sekai! Nippon Ikitai Hito Oendan’ on November 2. This marks her first appearance on a TV Tokyo variety show in 15 years.

The two-hour special features a Spanish Godzilla enthusiast named Laia, who has traveled to Japan to visit various landmarks, including the world's largest outdoor Godzilla statue on Awaji Island. The program will also include visits to Toho headquarters and Toho Studios, where Laia will have a surprise meeting with director Takashi Yamazaki.

Nagasawa, who has appeared in previous Godzilla films, will join guest DJ KOO in the studio to watch the footage. Nagasawa expressed her admiration for the guest's passion, stating she was moved by the footage of someone being so dedicated to a single interest.
