Masan Consumer joins SPISE 2026 international sensory evaluation conference

Masan Consumer participated in the SPISE 2026 International Scientific Conference on Sensory Evaluation held at Nha Trang University. The biennial event was co-organized by leading Vietnamese universities and international institutions, including Institut Agro Dijon and Institut Agro Rennes-Angers from France.

The conference brought together approximately 200 delegates, including scientists, researchers, and industry representatives from various countries such as the United States, France, Japan, South Korea, China, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. The event featured 64 scientific reports and three keynote speeches from experts in the US, South Korea, and Japan.

Under the theme “Directing sustainable transformation through sensory evaluation,” the conference expanded its scope to include interdisciplinary fields such as artificial intelligence (AI) applications, digital tools for sensory analysis, consumer behavior research, sustainable product development, alternative proteins, and cross-cultural taste differences. Masan Consumer’s R&D team utilized the six-day event to access new technologies and strengthen collaborations with international academic and research institutions to support future product innovation.
