Masan Group targets HoSE listing for Masan Consumer

Michael Hung Nguyen, Deputy General Director of Masan Group, discussed the group's expansion ambitions and the potential impact of Vietnam's stock market upgrade during an SSI Securities Corporation event. Nguyen noted that upgrading the market would provide significant opportunities for businesses to access international capital and improve liquidity.

As part of a strategy to enhance capital market access and broaden its investor base, Masan plans to move Masan Consumer from the UPCoM exchange to a listing on the HoSE. Additionally, the group is reviewing its strategy for Masan High-Tech Materials to better unlock the value of its existing assets. Nguyen emphasized that deeper integration into global capital markets will encourage companies to improve corporate governance and information disclosure standards.
