Masan High-Tech Materials stock hits record highs amid tungsten growth

Masan High-Tech Materials (MSR) has seen its stock price reach record highs, increasing 148% since the beginning of the year. This growth comes amid rising global tungsten prices and significant business developments, including the acquisition of a foreign strategic shareholder and plans to transfer its listing to the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE).

The company has proposed a second dividend advance for 2026 at 50% of par value, which, combined with the first advance, brings the total projected dividend for 2026 to 60% of par value. This represents a total payout of approximately 5,500 billion VND.

After over a decade of investment exceeding 700 million USD in the Nui Phao polymetallic mine and deep processing facilities, MSR is now generating substantial financial returns for Masan Group. The company’s integrated value chain, including Masan Tungsten Chemicals, provides approximately 21% of the world's tungsten supply outside of China. For the first eight months of the year, MSR reported net revenue of 21,013 billion VND, a 5.1-fold increase compared to the same period last year.
