Mascali beach club raided for illegal labor and unauthorized events

An inter-agency inspection at a well-known beach club in Fondachello di Mascali has resulted in the suspension of an event and the discovery of illegal labor. The operation, coordinated by the Carabinieri of Giarre, involved the Guardia di Finanza, the Catania ASP, SIAE, Firefighters, and local police.

Authorities discovered that a DJ set with paid admission was being held without the required authorization for public entertainment. Consequently, the event was immediately suspended, and the owner faces administrative sanctions for violating public safety regulations. The inspection also revealed that eight out of nine workers at the establishment were employed without legal contracts.
