Maserati celebrates heritage with 5000 GT Frua certification and GT2 Stradale Fuoriserie
Maserati has achieved two significant milestones in its heritage and customization programs. The Maserati Classiche division has granted its first Certification of Authenticity to a 5000 GT Frua (chassis 103064). Produced between 1959 and 1964, only 34 units of the 5000 GT were ever made. The model was originally commissioned by the Shah of Persia and features a 5.0-liter V8 engine derived from the 450S racing car.
In its customization division, Maserati has delivered a one-off GT2 Stradale Fuoriserie. Created through the Fuoriserie co-creation program, the vehicle features a Blu Victory metallic livery designed to commemorate the MC12's World GT1 championship titles. The car is powered by a 631-horsepower Nettuno V6 engine. As a unique collector's item, the engine bay bears the personal signature of Andrea Bertolini, a racing driver and Maserati competition advisor who won the 2010 FIA GT1 championship.
