Maserati Corse dominates GT2 European Series season finale

Maserati Corse concluded the 2026 GT2 European Series with a dominant performance at the Portimão circuit in Portugal. The manufacturer secured multiple pole positions and victories across both races held at the Algarve circuit, earning a total of nine podium finishes.

In the first race, Antoine Potty of i4Race took second place overall and won the Silver Cup. Philippe and Louis Prette of LP Racing finished second overall and won the PRO/AM category. In the second race, the Prette family secured an overall victory and the PRO/AM class. Other notable results included Thomas Yu Lee winning the Masters category and Niccolò Pirri and Stefan Rosina winning the Silver Cup in the second race.

Maserati Corse Director Vincent Biard noted that the season results reflect the brand's significant presence and status as a leading competitor within the SRO Motorsports Group championship.
