Masfen Enerji begins trading on Borsa Istanbul after successful IPO
Turkish renewable‑energy firm Masfen Enerji completed its initial public offering and started trading on Borsa Istanbul’s Star Market under the ticker MASFN on 30 July 2026. The company, which develops solar, wind and storage projects in Turkey and Europe, raised 3.8828 billion Turkish lira through the issuance of 55 million new shares and the sale of 30 million existing shares.
The IPO attracted strong demand, with investors submitting orders for 422 million 947 704 nominal shares—about 4.98 times the amount offered. Allocation totals included 1 million 89 645 domestic individual investors, 4 205 high‑allocation investors and 48 domestic institutions, totalling roughly 1 million 93 898 investors. The offering was oversubscribed across all investor categories.
A gong ceremony marking the listing was held at Borsa Istanbul headquarters, attended by BIST General Manager Korkmaz Ergun, Masfen founders Mehmet Songur and Kemal Onur Karakuş, board members Rüştü Hazer and Aykut Dinçbaşaran, and Deniz Yatırım executives. Songur highlighted the company’s 12‑year journey from its 2014 inception to today’s market debut, emphasizing its role in Turkey’s energy transition.
