Mashhad police investigate suspicious death of young woman

Police in Mashhad have launched a criminal investigation following the suspicious death of a 25-year-old woman found in her apartment in the Seydi district. The victim's body was discovered in her living area, and forensic examinations revealed slight bruising and superficial scratches on her body.

Preliminary investigations at the scene uncovered traces of blood on the walls and in the bathroom, as well as evidence of drug use and the presence of an unidentified individual. Judge Sadegh Safari and specialized criminal police officers have secured the 60-square-meter apartment to conduct a detailed forensic analysis.

A relative of the deceased stated that while the woman did not have a known addiction to drugs or pills, she had a friendly relationship with a man named Habib, who is reportedly involved with narcotics. Following the discovery of the body, a man believed to be connected to the victim has reportedly fled the scene, leading authorities to believe he may hold information regarding the circumstances of her death.
