Mashhad shooting leaves one dead after wedding dispute

In Mashhad, a fatal shooting occurred on a rural road near Purkandabad following a verbal dispute at a wedding ceremony. According to investigators, a group of three individuals in a Peugeot Pars targeted occupants of a Peugeot 206 with Winchester hunting rifles. The attack resulted in the death of 30-year-old Amirhossein M., who sustained gunshot wounds to the head and face, and left another passenger injured. Judge Sadegh Safari has overseen the investigation, which includes reviewing CCTV footage to apprehend the suspects.

In Tehran, police intercepted a mobile phone thief on the Sadr Expressway. Following a pursuit, officers shot the suspect in both legs to stop his escape. The 20-year-old suspect reportedly confessed to committing between 10 and 15 robberies, primarily targeting individuals in traffic during the early evening hours.
