Masicka announces third studio album ‘Forever Reign

Jamaican dancehall artist Masicka is set to release his third studio album, titled ‘Forever Reign’, on August 14. The 17-track project is intended to signal his longevity and permanence within the music genre.

The album features a collaboration with Damian ‘Jr Gong’ Marley on the opening track, ‘1 Psalm’, which focuses on themes of faith, protection, and perseverance. Masicka stated that the title ‘Forever Reign’ reflects his intention to maintain his position in the industry, noting, ‘my lane is carved out, and we’re going to soak up the space.’

In addition to the upcoming album, Masicka has released a new single titled ‘Spend’, which showcases his modern dancehall sound and lyrical style.
