Masicka releases third studio album Forever Reign

Dancehall artist Masicka is releasing his third studio album, titled ‘Forever Reign’, a 17-track project released via Def Jam Recordings. The album, which follows his 2021 debut ‘438’ and 2023 release ‘Generation of Kings’, features collaborations with artists including Damian ‘Jr. Gong’ Marley, Kraff, Lila Iké, and Blaqbonez. The project aims to establish the artist's longevity in the genre.

In conjunction with the album release, Masicka is scheduled to perform his debut headlining show at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Addressing recent industry tensions, Masicka has also commented on his involvement in lyrical conflicts, specifically mentioning a beef with Tommy Lee and his relationship with Vybz Kartel’s camp. He clarified that his friction with Kartel’s side arose after feeling a lack of support following a perceived betrayal during a public dispute.
