Masiero and Invernizzi win consecutive races at Coppa Italia Next Pro

Riccardo Lorenzo Masiero and Maria Invernizzi secured consecutive victories during the Coppa Italia Next Pro weekend in Capracotta, Molise. Following their wins in Saturday's classic mass start, both athletes won the Sunday mass start held using free technique.

In the men's race, Masiero completed the 6.3km course in 20'27'', winning in a sprint finish ahead of Riccardo Munari. Matteo Tanel finished third. In the women's category, Maria Invernizzi won the 5km course in 19'45''2, finishing 50.2 seconds ahead of Paola Beri.

Other category winners included Davide Gasbarro in the U16 men's division and Sara Proietti Cignitti in the U16 women's division.
