Mason Rook discusses physique and NXT Championship opportunity

Mason Rook, the new number one contender for the NXT Championship, has addressed discussions regarding his physique and the possibility of losing weight. Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Rook noted that while he would like to lose some weight, he believes his unique size and appearance are what initially helped him secure a position within WWE.

Rook observed that many wrestlers undergo physical transformations after arriving in NXT or WWE, but he maintains that there is no universal blueprint for success. He expressed a desire to improve his fitness while attempting to preserve the distinct identity that differentiates him from other performers. Rook is currently preparing to challenge Grayson Waller for the NXT Championship.
