Masoud Pezeshkian calls education vital to saving Iran

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized the critical importance of education and human capital during the opening ceremony of a police high school. He stated that education is a vital sector capable of saving the nation, arguing that the potential of the country's youth is more valuable than its natural resources, such as oil, gas, copper, and gold.

Pezeshkian noted that while many nations lack natural resources, they possess advanced tools and technologies created by human ingenuity. He stressed the need to invest in children to ensure they acquire the skills, beliefs, and motivation to serve their country and people, which he suggested would protect the nation's sovereignty from foreign interests.

The President also addressed the necessity of fostering dynamic and creative thinking, cautioning against restricting the intellect. He remarked that the current administration has prepared the groundwork for improved educational methods, focusing on how to teach students to think critically and collaborate effectively.
